AFTERSTONE is what remains after pressure.
Stone is not born hard. It starts as sediment — dust, shell, the leftovers of things that already died. It becomes stone because something heavy sat on it for a very long time. Pressure is not what happens to it. Pressure is what makes it.
That is the whole idea. Not motivation. Not a slogan about grinding. A plain statement about how permanence actually works: it gets made, slowly, out of the parts of you that got compressed.
How I build
A small number of pieces at a time. Heavyweight garment-dyed cotton that softens instead of wearing out. Graphics that mean something specific rather than looking vaguely tough. Nothing seasonal, nothing trend-chasing. If a piece would not still make sense in ten years, it does not get made.
Where it is made
Cape Coral, Florida. I make every shirt one at a time, and I designed every one of them. There is no warehouse behind this. When a run is gone, it is gone.
